Back to School Cool
Back to school is upon us and as a mother of a teenage boy, I’ll be the first to admit that shopping for a teenager is no easy feat — period.
The layered look is one of the most popular fall trends. The key to pulling this style off without a hitch? You need to be able to remove an outer layer without compromising the style of your outfit.
My secret weapon here is knowing that all of your pieces must look great as an ensemble, as well as standalone items. So rule number one is make sure each separate piece looks good alone as well as when paired with other pieces.
To perfect the art of layering a look, also consider essential tips such as layering thin to thick, colors and patterns. (I promise to delve deeper into this styling option as it gets cooler.)
