Over 25 years ago, Linda Rowe Thomas began her career in the retail industry and it didn't take long for her hard work and determination to send her on a fast track journey in the world of fashion. At the young age of 22 years old, Thomas became the head buyer for one of the leading retail stores in the country.

 

After acquiring years of management level expertise in fashion marketing, buying and retail management with industry powerhouses Macy's and Belk Stores, Linda ventured further into the corporate retail sector. Thomas was recruited to join IBM's Retail Small/Medium Business team where she managed retail accounts in the Eastern and Mid-Western states. Thomas established and maintained business relationships with top level executives in the Retail, Distribution and Transportation industry, consistently exceeding quotas in excess of $125,000,000 annually.

In 2006 Linda stepped out on faith to follow her own dreams and launched Romás by Linda Rowe Thomas. From the family's spare bedroom with no clients, no capital and very little personal money to put into the business, she created her first couture collection. 

The business gained national exposure after it's first appearance at New York Fashion in 2010.

 

Fast forward to 2020, Thomas is now an award winning fashion designer, author, and speaker. Linda offers her industry expertise on fashion brand development, fashion tips and life changing strategies via consulting with private clients and hosting seminars for the general public, universities, and businesses. Thomas has and continues to share her extensive knowledge on multiple platforms including print, television, and fashion blogging. Linda designed the Business of Fashion to provide inspiring entrepreneurs with everything they'd need to start and build a successful fashion brand of their own!
