August 21, 2017

The LBD, also known as Little Black Dress, is an iconic fashion piece that is worn dress that is worn world wide. It never goes out of style and it is so flattering. The key to rocking your own with style is selecting a LBD to fit your body type and you will look your very best! Team Romás is here to assist you in finding that stunning LBD for the correct body type.

The hourglass body type is one of the most common of the body types. Swoop necks, V-necks, and deep necklines are flattering to those with bigger chests. High necklines are not as flattering because it closes off that area. Dresses that accentuate your waist are going to be more favorable toward your body because it is the smallest part of your body. Your curves are important to show off, so fitted knee length dresses are complimentary to you hourglass girls.

The apple body type is one that if you style it the right way, it can be simple to make flattering. Empire waists are miracle workers when it comes to hiding the stomach area. They make your legs look leaner and longer. High necklines work incredibly with this body type because it turns the attention the face as well as the lower half of the body.

The rectangle body type is also known as the athletic body type. A quick fix for achieving the look of more curves is to add ruffles. Add ruffles wherever you want to look curvier. The hip area as well as the bust area are two places that most people want to seem more ample. Shorter hem lines are often more flattering on those with rectangle body shapes to draw more attention to the legs.

The inverted triangle body type is a fairly common body type amongst women. To keep you looking as proportionate as possible, wear deep v necklines and thick shoulder straps. Showing the least amount of shoulders is more flattering because it makes the top look slimmer. Wearing a cool belt makes your waist look tiny and it adds a fun element to your dress. Dresses with slits like the picture of Mila Kunis above give an extra line to draw the eye to.

The pear shape body type is one that is important to know about so we can focus on what body parts need to be accentuated! Strapless dresses are great to wear to show off the arms and bust area. Bringing the attention up is good because this shape is the smallest up top. Tighter tops above the natural waist are flattering. Knee length and midi length dresses and skirts are also complimentary for this body type.

There are lots of ways to style your individual body type whether you are an apple shape or a pear shape. These style tips will help you showcase your best self!
